The House of Bread, Project History

This album is a heart cry for the Christian church to respond to our Lord's prompting & invitation to revival. The title track gets its name from the fact that Bethlehem, the birth place of Jesus, literally means Bet (The House) Lehem (of Bread). Since bread is a picture of God, the source of true sustenance, our prayer is that this project will help feed all who hear it, and will continue to deepen the churches hunger for God.

Over the past several years the Lord has been birthing in us a great hunger for His abiding presence in worship and the renewal of His church in love and passion for Him. The CD The House of Bread (Live Worship With Terry Lee) has been the fullest expression of this work of God's grace, thus far. It contains music God began giving to Terry, as this dream has begun to be realized at Bramalea Baptist Church and the songs keep coming.

February 2, 2002, with a congregation of avid worshippers, worship leader Terry Lee, an assembled band of friends, and the Praise Team and Choir from Bramalea Baptist Church met for a night of worship, captured in part on this world class recording.

"The House of Bread" features 9 original compositions, penned by Terry, and birthed in the pew of Bramalea Baptist Church, plus 2 hymns re-orchestrated using the sounds of today's music.

The project was edited and mixed at "Firescape Recordings", and the final product was released at Missionfest Toronto, as Terry and team had the privilege of leading the congregations that gathered in worship over the 3 days of the conference.

Over 1,000 CD's are now in circulation. Many sold locally, as well as 350 CD's actively raising money for the child victims of the wars in the former Yugoslavia, through Euroaid. Distribution of the CD's in Canada, USA and UK have met with encouraging reviews from musicians and worshippers alike.

*All proceeds from the sale of this recording will go to aiding the child victims of war in the former Yugoslavia.
