Rev. Terry Lee

Terry is the Worship Arts Pastor at Bramalea Baptist Church. He joined the Pastoral Team in August 1993 as Director of Worship Ministries, added Growth Group Ministries to his area of responsibility in 1994 and then took on Adult Ministries in 1997, when a full time Director of Small Group Ministries was brought onto the team. In 2002 he was released from Adult Ministries as his ministry responsibilities shifted to include all Arts Ministries throughout Bramalea Baptist Church.

Terry graduated from Humber College in 1986 as a vocal and writing major. He developed and managed his own jingle writing company, which evolved into an advertising agency, and ran it successfully until 1992. In 1991 he started studies at Central Baptist Seminary. He graduated with a Master of Theological Studies in 1994 and a Master of Divinity in 1996 from Heritage Theological Seminary.

Terry was born in 1965 in Owen Sound, Ontario. He grew up near London, Ontario and then Bradford, Ontario. He and his family presently reside in Brampton. Terry's wife Ann sings on the Vocal Team every other Sunday. They have two young children, Kathryn and Daniel.

Terry both sings and plays guitar and violin as he leads the worship services at Bramalea Baptist Church. Terry is a composer, as well as an arranger, and has written many songs which are used regularly at BBC, some of which are now featured on "The House of Bread", his first CD, a live, worship experience from here at Bramalea.

Sunday morning worship services are a dynamic blend of new and old music, all arranged with a contemporary rhythm section. Terry supports the leaders of the Adult, Junior High and Kidz Praise choirs. As well, various music ensembles are assembled for outreach and fellowship activities around the church and community.

Other Worship Ministry ministries under Terry's leadership include Drama Ministries, Technical Ministries, Sunday Morning Hospitality (an assembly of parking, greeting, welcome team, ushers and info desk ministries), Communion and Prayer Ministries, and he also oversees the programming of the Sunday Morning Services.

Terry has eclectic musical tastes; in addition to contemporary praise and worship, he enjoys jazz and classical music. Terry is an enthusiastic mountain biker and downhill skier. An articulate and compelling preacher, he is also a member of the Eldership at Bramalea Baptist, and is completely devoted to God, his wife and kids, and the body of Christ locally and internationally.

Terry presently serves on the FebCentral Worship Leaders Fellowship leadership, is past-chair of the Heritage Alumni Association, co-founder of Brampton March for Jesus, is actively involved in City-wide ministry, and has a particular heart for Israel and desires to see the Jews recognize Jesus as their Messiah.
